Regina Police Service said one woman went to the hospital after she had injuries from a police dog that were “consistent with a dog bite.”
At 2:45 a.m. on Monday, Regina police tried to pull over truck travelling in the eastbound lane on 8th Avenue near Rae Street. The driver did not stop and turned into the alley between Rae Street and Retallack Street.
“Officers were able to safely follow the vehicle until the suspect driver eventually pulled over in the 2100 Block of Rae Street, exited the vehicle and ran,” said Regina Police Service in a news release.

The Canine Unit tracked the woman to where she was hiding underneath a vehicle.
The police dog made contact with the woman during the arrest and she was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.
The 24-year-old woman was charged with flight from a police officer. The woman made her first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Monday.
