A Regina man who stabbed his mother to death in January of 2022 has been found not criminally responsible on account of mental disorder.A Court of King’s Bench justice read her decision regarding 36-year-old Raefe Aeron Mahadeo on Monday.He was arrested Jan. 4, 2022, after the body of 63-year-old Deborah Mae Mahadeo was found in a house in the 1600 block of Toronto Street.At the time, a police spokesperson confirmed the accused was the son of the victim.Mahadeo initially was charged with second-degree murder, but pleaded not guilty due to his mental disorder.
