A music instructor in Regina has been charged with sexually assaulting a nine-year-old victim.
According to police, the investigation began Monday after the Regina Children’s Justice Centre got a report that the child had been assaulted by a private music instructor.
The instructor – identified by police as 71-year-old Claro Recto Belen – was arrested and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.

Police said he was released on conditions ahead of a court date next month.
