RCMP officers in North Battleford seized more than a kilogram of meth and a wide assortment of illegal items during two searches.
According to the Mounties, officers from the Battlefords Gang Task Force executed two search warrants at homes in North Battleford on Sunday as part of a drug investigation.
At the end of the day, police made two arrests and seized roughly 1,700 grams of methamphetamine. Police also collected 28,000 illegal cigarettes, five guns, ammunition, and drug paraphernalia.

A 44-year-old woman is now facing a total of 15 drug and gun charges, while a 47-year-old man is facing two gun charges and a single count of obstructing a peace officer.
Both were scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.
