Three teenagers have been charged after a string of convenience store robberies in Regina dating back to December of 2022.
Police said the first robbery occurred Dec. 10, 2022, at a convenience store in the 200 block of Winnipeg Street. A male armed with a knife entered the store, demanded money, took some items and then took off.
The second robbery happened Dec. 12, 2022, at a convenience store in the 400 block of Broad Street North. Police say two males — one of whom had a firearm — robbed the store and then fled.
On Feb. 24, 2023, a convenience store in the 5500 block of Seventh Avenue was hit. Three males — one of whom was armed with a gun — entered the store and demanded money. After the robbery, the suspects ran off.
Finally, on June 29, 2023, police were called to a convenience store in the 100 block of Albert Street for a report of a robbery. Three males had robbed the store and took off.

The police eventually identified the suspects and arrested three teens over the past month. A 16-year-old male was arrested and charged on March 14, a 15-year-old male was picked up on March 19, and an 18-year-old male was arrested and charged on Thursday.
The 16-year-old is facing two counts each of robbery and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, and one count of use of an imitation firearm during the commission of an offence.
The 15-year-old is charged with three counts each of robbery and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The 18-year-old is facing three charges of robbery, two of wearing a disguise with intent, and one of use of an imitation firearm during the commission of an indictable offence.
None of the teens can be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The 18-year-old can’t be named as he was a youth at the time of the offences.
