The day-long event welcomes over 250 female hockey players from ages four to 22.
EDMONTON — Olivia and Noah have retained their titles as Alberta’s most popular baby names.
The province has released data for 2023 that shows 210 babies were named Olivia, making it the most popular girl’s name in the province for the 11th year in a row.
There were 276 newborns named Noah, making it the most popular boy’s name for the fifth consecutive year.
The most popular boy names after Noah were Liam, Oliver, Theodore and Jack.
The other top girl’s names were Amelia, Sophia, Charlotte and Emma.
There were more than 47,000 births registered in Alberta last year.
