There will be a lot of classic cars cruising around Regina this weekend.
The 56th annual Majestics Car Show is to take place at the International Trade Centre.
Bill Mattrek of the show said this year’s event is drawing a lot of attention.
“This year we have about 200 vehicles, 30 vendors and nine non-profits in the show, so we can only get so many people in,” he said during Friday’s Greg Morgan Morning Show. “We had a lot of entries and we had to turn some away this year, which is nice.
“We have vehicles from B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the northern States as well.”
He said chances are good that if it has an engine, it will be at the show.
“We’ve got vehicles basically from a small vintage racing snowmobile to a Kenworth semi and everything in between,” said Mattrek.
People can do more than just check out some classic cars at this year’s show. The event will also be selling raffle tickets for a cool Hot Wheels find.
All the proceeds from that event will go to the Regina Humane Society.
The show has a $20 admission fee and will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
