A death investigation began Wednesday in Moose Jaw after police say a man was found dead on the ground underneath a bridge.
Moose Jaw police originally responded to a call of a minor incident involving an abandoned vehicle at 4:30 a.m. When they got there, Moose Jaw Police Service said a man was found dead by officers underneath the 9th Avenue Bridge.
The bridge was closed by police around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, it re-opened to traffic around 10 a.m.
“At this point in the investigation, foul play is not suspected,” police said in a news release.
The Saskatchewan Coroners Service is now working with police on the investigation.
