The RCMP is investigating after they found human remains in Canora.
On Wednesday, the RCMP responded to a report of human remains discovered on Railway Avenue in Canora. Investigators there consulted with a forensic anthropologist, who examined the remains.

At this time, investigators don’t believe the death is suspicious and don’t currently know the identity of the individual.
Loved ones of family members currently missing in the Canora area have been notified.
The investigation is ongoing.
