A cyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle on Monday in Swift Current.
According to the RCMP, officers were called to the area of Friesen Street and Third Avenue Southeast at around 3:20 p.m. where they found the cyclist – a 36-year-old Swift Current man – suffering serious injuries.

The cyclist was pronounced dead in hospital, the Mounties noted, and his family has been notified.
The driver remained at the scene after the crash, police said, and the investigation is ongoing.
