White Butte RCMP vehicle rammed during traffic stop, 3 arrested

White Butte RCMP recieved an impaired driver report at noon on June 20 at the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 662 overpass near Balgonie, SK.

The suspect vehicle was found in a commercial parking lot. RCMP then turned on their emergency lights and parked head on  to conduct their traffic stop. The suspect vehicle drove forward, struck the police vehicle twice head on, and fled.The officer inside the vehicle was not physically injured, unlike the vehicle.

The vehicle was pursed westbound on Highway 46 towards Pilot Butte when officers set up a tire deflation device. The suspect vehicles were flattened near the intersection of Highway 362 and 46.

Two adult females and an adult male were arrested at the scene. A 33-year-old female received five charges.

No other details are available at this time, however the investigation is still ongoing.
