The Regina Police Service (RPS) is asking the public for help after a man was assaulted with a large bladed weapon Friday night.
RPS was called to the scene on the 4100 block of 5th Avenue around 11:51 p.m. for a weapons offence.
Police found an injured man who suffered a severe injury. EMS arrived and he was taken to hospital.
We have no further information about his injuries.
The attacker fled the scene.
The incident is under investigation. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the RPS at 306-777-6500 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
