Regina Police Service is investigating after officers found the body of a woman inside a home in the city early Saturday.
Police said in a news release that it had begun a death investigation with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service after being called to a home in the 1000 block of Montague Street shortly after 3 a.m. on August 10.
Police said officers had requested additional resources from the major crime and forensic identification units after finding the body, and the woman’s family had been notified.
No further details would be be released, police added.
