Wilkie RCMP said they’ve determined at least four adult residents in a care facility located in Wilkie, Sask. were assaulted, sexually assaulted and/or threatened between January 2023 and February 2024.
Police have arrested and charged 36-year-old Jaclyn Elias of Wilkie. She was a female staff member up until February 2024.
RCMP charged Elias with four counts of assault, three counts of sexual assault, one count of sexual assault with a weapon, and one count of uttering threats.
Elias was arrested on Feb. 29, 2024, and appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on Aug. 26, 2024
According to police, she will make her next court appearance on Sept. 16, 2024.
Wilkie is located 165 kilometres west of Saskatoon.
