Driver, 66, dies in Estevan collision with semi

A 66-year-old Estevan man is dead after a collision between his car and a semi truck on Friday.

Estevan RCMP said in a news release that officers were called to the scene of the collision on the bypass (Highway 39) east of Highway 47 and north of Estevan around 7 p.m. on Aug. 30.

The driver of the car died at the scene and the driver of the semi was treated for minor injuries, police said.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist continues to investigate.
