RPS investigate cyclist hit by vehicle in North Central neighbourhood

A man riding a bicycle was hit by a vehicle late Thursday Morning.

Police were dispatched to the area of 6th Avenue and Angus Street just after 11:20 a.m. There were reports that a vehicle hit a bicyclist.

When police arrived, they located the driver of the vehicle and the man who was hit. EMS took the bicyclist to the hospital. Police on the scene said the man’s life is not at risk.

The incident is still under investigation.
