What’s open and closed on the Thanksgiving weekend in Regina?

The City of Regina has released its municipal services and office schedules for the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, October 14. Here’s what’s open and what’s closed:

Civic offices: Closed.

Landfill: Open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., entry gates close at 6:45 p.m.

Waste collection: Picked up as scheduled.

Regina Transit: Service will be provided using Sunday routes and schedules. The transit information centre and RIDELine will be closed.

Paratransit: Operating from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Riverside Memorial Park and cemeteries: Gates open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., offices will be closed.

North West Leisure Centre: Open 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre: Open 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Sportsplex, Fieldhouse and Lawson Aquatic Centre: Open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Parking meters: Not in effect.
