Mounties investigate phone threat to Yorkton high school

RCMP officers are investigating after a threatening phone call was directed at Yorkton Regional High School.

Police responded to the school and are investigating, but the RCMP said the threat, which came in at around noon on Wednesday, is not currently believed to be credible.

“There will continue to be an increased police presence at the school and continued investigation will take place,” the RCMP said in a statement.
