A collision on Highway 6, approximately 10 kilometres north of Regina, turned fatal Wednesday night.
Southey RCMP received a report of the collision around 6:30 p.m. Officers responded immediately.
The driver of one of the vehicles was declared dead by EMS at the scene. He’s been identified as a 35-year-old man from Piapot First Nation.
The adult male passenger was taken to hospital but his life is not at risk.
The adult male driver of the other vehicle was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Highway 6 was closed during initial investigation but has since re-opened.
Southey RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
