Police in Regina are appealing to the public for information after an apparent shooting left a woman badly injured early on Tuesday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the 1400 block of Argyle Street in the city’s North Central neighbourhood at around 5:30 a.m. where they found the injured woman.

“The victim’s injuries were consistent with gunshot wounds,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
“Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived and transported the victim to hospital with what were believed to be serious, life-threatening injuries.”
The police service asked anyone with information that could help the investigation to get in touch with police or Crime Stoppers.
