A collision between an SUV and truck turned fatal Friday morning.
On Dec. 20 around 11:30 a.m., Saskatoon RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway #5, east of St. Denis — a small community approximately 40km east of Saskatoon — where a westbound SUV and an eastbound truck collided.
The driver of the SUV and lone occupant of the vehicle — a 69-year-old woman from Humboldt — was pronounced dead at the scene.
The lone driver of the truck — a 45-year-old man from Saskatoon — was taken to hospital and his life is not at risk.
Saskatoon RCMP and RCMP Collision Reconstruction continue to investigate.
