A teen boy is now the third person facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with a Regina homicide case.
According to police, officers were called to the 800 block of Victoria Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. on April 24 where they found an injured man, who was declared dead a short time later. He was identified in court documents as William Campbell.

The following day, 33-year-old Keli Stonechild was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with Campbell’s death.
On Monday, a second person – 23-year-old Dontay Bellegarde – was also charged with first-degree murder.
Police said a third person – a 16-year-old boy – is now also facing a first-degree murder charge, along with a charge of failing to comply with a disposition. The teen, who cannot be named publicly due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is expected to appear in a Regina courtroom on Thursday morning.
Police asked anyone with additional information on Campbell’s death to get in touch with the Regina Police Service or make a report through Crime Stoppers.
The death on April 24 marks Regina’s third homicide case of 2025.
