A 19-year-old woman from Regina is now the fourth person charged with the first-degree murder of William Campbell on April 24, the city’s third homicide of 2025.
Regina Police Service said in a news release on May 6 that Priscilla Irene Cyr was arrested around 5 a.m. on Tuesday and was charged with Campbell’s murder and failing to comply with a disposition. Her first court appearance is scheduled for May 7.

Keli Stonechild, 33, and 23-year-old Dontay Bellegarde as well as a 16-year-old male youth who cannot be named have also been charged with first-degree murder.
As well, police said that three other people have been arrested and charged in connection with Campbell’s death.
Regina woman Leslie Ann Thorne, 28, has been charged with forcible confinement, 37-year old Regina woman Miranda Kay Jasmine Pasqua has been charged with obstructing a peace officer and accessory after the fact to murder and another 37-year-old Regina woman, Amanda Rae Twardy, is facing charges for accessory after the fact to murder and breaching a conditional sentence order.
All three have made initial court appearances, police said.
According to police, officers were called to the 800 block of Victoria Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. on April 24 where they found Campbell injured and he was declared dead a short time later.
Regina murders in 2025
Regina’s first homicide of 2025 was on Feb. 18 when a 46-year-old man was found dead in the 1500 block of 12th Avenue, near Carmichael Outreach. Regina man Dennis Hotomaine, 39, has been charged with first-degree murder.
Christopher Seaton, 42, was the victim in Regina’s second homicide of 2025 after his death in a home the 400 block of East College Avenue on April 10.
James Dubois, a 36-year-old Regina man, has been charged with first-degree murder and a 42-year-old man and and 38-year old woman, both from Regina, have been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder in connection to Seaton’s death.
There were six homicides in the city in 2024.
