Almost three-quarters of crops have been planted in Saskatchewan, with a 72 per cent completion rate of seeding. Rain delays in the southern and eastern regions of the provinces have led to a smaller increase from last week.

- Mustard at 84 per cent
- Canola at 58 per cent
- Flax at 50 per cent
- Soybean at 31 per cent
- Perennial forage 31 per cent

Rainfall
Producers are still hoping for more rainfall soon, as most of the province remains dry despite the southeast corner receiving a lot of precipitation.

Topsoil:
Topsoil moisture reserves continue to be depleted, while in certain areas, the rainfall has helped.

Many producers are keeping busy by spraying, land rolling and picking rocks, and livestock are being moved to pastures — although seeding is still the main focus.
