The Saskatchewan RCMP is urging drivers not to get behind the wheel if impaired after the force says two police vehicles were hit by impaired drivers in two different incidents this week.
No one was hurt in either collision.

The first accident happened on May 19 in Tisdale, where Tisdale RCMP got a report of an erratic driver in the area.
An officer located the vehicle parked outside of a business, turned on their emergency lights and pulled in behind.
The vehicle reversed, striking the police cruiser, RCMP said.
After an investigation, the female driver was charged with impaired driving.
Two days later in Swift Current, an RCMP officer was conducting a curfew check at a home in the community.
RCMP said the officer saw a vehicle driving erratically without its lights on and then it hit the parked police cruiser.
The adult driver was also charged with impaired driving following an investigation.
Both police vehicles were damaged and the Swift Current RCMP vehicle is no longer drivable.
Supt. Grant St. Germaine, officer in charge of Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic Services, said in his 48 years of service, he’s never seen anything like this happen so frequently.
“What’s not new is my frustration that some people just aren’t getting the message: impaired driving is dangerous and can lead to tragic results,” he said.
“Until impaired driving is eradicated, we’ll continue to use every opportunity we have to remind drivers to never get behind the wheel while impaired, whether that’s by alcohol, drug or fatigue.”
According to RCMP, 33 people have died on Saskatchewan roads so far this year. Not all the deaths are impaired driving related.
