Multiple firearms and ammunition were located by the Regina Police Service after a search warrant was executed in the Heritage neighbourhood this weekend.
Just a few minutes before 6 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to a weapons offence call at a residence in the 2000 block of Toronto Street.
Officers in the news release said, “The caller indicated that a male was causing a disturbance and was believed to be in possession of a firearm.”
Once on scene, police saw a man and a woman who matched the descriptions outside the residence standing. The woman was arrested without incident, however, the man ignored officers and went inside. “A short time later, he exited the house and was subsequently arrested.”
A 39-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were arrested.
