The Saskatchewan Roughriders have decided on their roster for the 2025 CFL season and are ready to kick things off this week.
Saskatchewan will host the Ottawa Redblacks on Thursday at Mosaic Stadium as the CFL regular season gets underway.
This comes after a long training camp and two preseason losses for the Riders, though many of the starters didn’t play much throughout the preseason.

Jamie Nye and Britton Gray take a look at the team ahead of the contest against Ottawa and how they view the matchup. The guys also take a look at the cuts the Riders made and make their predictions for each of the Riders’ team awards.
Nye and Gray also try to predict what the CFL standings will look like in the east and west divisions and give their picks for the Grey Cup (both believe it could be a great year in Saskatchewan).

Gray grew up in Regina and remembers going to Rider games as a child. Now, he gets a chance to cover the team daily, bringing up-to-the-minute reports and insight from players and coaches from practice as well as pre- and post-game interviews.
