The Saskatoon home prize is valued at $1,645,028 at 641 Greenbryre Cove. The 3,846 sq. ft. four bedroom home features three-and-a-half bathrooms has an open-concept main floor, a kitchen with an 11-foot island with quartz countertops. “Every ticket purchased isn’t just a chance to win, it’s a direct investment in critical care for our neighbours, our family and our community,” Dr. John Froh, the organization’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
“For 40 years, STARS has been more than a service, we’ve been a lifeline, and a beacon of hope in some of the darkest moments of our patients’ lives.”
Froh said the lottery is a critical fundraiser that helps STARS continue its work. Funds raised through the lottery go directly towards operations, and add up to about a third of the annual cost for STARS to run its bases in Saskatoon and Regina.
“As someone who has worked in this field for a long time, I’ve seen firsthand how this support translates into lives saved,” he said. “The lottery ensures the next patient can get the care they need, anytime, anywhere.”
STARS said this year’s prizes are the most exciting yet, to help celebrate the organization’s 40th anniversary.
“To mark this milestone year, Saskatchewan’s 2025 STARS Lottery features two grand prize dream homes in Saskatoon and Regina, plus thrilling vehicles, international vacations, unique experiences, and thousands of additions in home, outdoor and electronic prizes,” STARS said in a statement.
There are also plenty of additional draws on offer this year, including a 50/50 which will see one winner take home half of a pool of up to $5 million.
Tickets for the annual lottery start at $60, and can be purchased through the STARS website, by phone or in-person at the bases in Regina and Saskatoon.
There have been reports of scammers in Saskatchewan pretending to be involved with the STARS Lottery in the past, so STARS noted that winners will never be asked to provide anything in order to claim a prize.
“Winners will be contacted directly by STARS and can use STARS’ official contacts to verify their winning numbers,” the air ambulance service noted.
