In the 1000 block of Arnason Street, Regina Police Service were called due to an injured person at around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
According to the news release, “Initial Information indicated that the victim had approached an individual and requested EMS. He was found to have injuries consistent with multiple stab wounds.”

The victim was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after police and EMS arrived.
The description police had of the suspect matched that of a boy the police located a “short time later.” Police arrested the boy who was walking southbound on Arnason Street and found a knife on his person.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with the following:
- Aggravated Assault
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon
- Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Release Order
- Fail to Comply with Disposition
He made his first appearance on June 9 at 9:30 a.m. in the Youth Provincial Court.
