Teens aged 16 and older are going to have new daytime and new overnight drop-in centres for those experiencing homelessness.
However — these are seasonal and will hopefully be open on June 15, 2025.

The daytime centre will be at Station 20 West. It’s funded by the government of Saskatchewan and the City of Saskatoon. The Saskatoon Tribal Council will operate it.
It will be open from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., giving a safe space to access services like emergency shelters and housing, coordinated access systems, recovery and mental health programs and services.
“The urgency could not be clearer — this partnership is a critical step in creating safe spaces for vulnerable people in Saskatoon,” said Mayor Cynthia Block. “The City is committed to keeping the momentum going and working closely with our partners to open centres that are Indigenous-led and grounded in community.”
The overnight centre will be at White Buffalo Youth Lodge and open from 10 p.m. until 8 a.m. Here, the Gov. of Sask. and the STC will provide food, an on-site elder, showers, laundry and a place to rest.
The services are located roughly 550 meters from each other.
These programs are for the summer months; however, no end date was provided.
