The Saskatchewan RCMP’s major crimes unit is investigating a suspicious death.
According to the Mounties, officers were notified of a deceased person in a rural area near Grand Coulee, just west of Regina, on Tuesday morning.

“The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Aron Lunan from Regina,” the RCMP said in a statement. “His family has been notified.”
Police said Lunan’s death was deemed suspicious, and anyone who saw or spoke with him between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning was asked to contact the RCMP.
“Aron is described as approximately 5’3” tall with a slim build. He has brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with skulls and grey flames on it, black sweatpants with a praying hand design on them, and a green jacket with a white sticker on the upper left side on the chest,” the RCMP said.
“Aron is known to ride a bike. The bike is described as an all black Supercycle bike. The front tire forks on the bike are painted white and the word ‘Fox’ is handwritten on the front tire shock absorber. The bike has not yet been located.”
Lunan was last seen alive in the North Central neighbourhood of Regina.
Additionally, the Mounties asked anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the Grand Coulee area, or has any informaiton about Lunan’s death, to get in touch with police.
“Updates will be provided when available,” the RCMP said. “If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public.”
