A man and a male youth have been arrested after a stabbing and assault at a business in Martensville that police say was “not random.”
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on June 14 that officers from the Warman RCMP detachment were called to a business in the 200 block of Centennial Drive North around 9:55 p.m. on June 13 after receiving a report of an assault with a weapon.

Police said they found a man with stab wounds and provided first aid before he was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious, but non-life-threatening.
Police said that the officers also learned a male youth had been physically assaulted , adding he was not stabbed, and had already been taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
RCMP said the man and youth who were arrested had entered the business and a physical altercation took place between them and the two victims.
The youth was arrested by Warman RCMP at hospital as he had been injured during the altercation, and the man was arrested by Warman RCMP at a home in Martensville, police said. No details of any charges were released.
A third male youth was arrested at a gathering in Martensville but later released without charges, they added.
