“According to initial information, two females and one male entered the business, with the male identifying himself as a police officer,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
“The suspects then threatened and assaulted the victim before stealing a cellphone and money. They fled the scene shortly after.”
Police gathered descriptions of the suspects, and a 30-year-old woman was arrested without incident on Saturday. She’s now facing a robbery charge.
Then, on Sunday, police arrested a 45-year-old who is now facing charges of robbery and impersonating a peace officer.
Police said officers are trying to identify a third suspect in the alleged robbery. The police force shared two images depicting the suspect, and asked anyone with information that could help further the investigation to contact the Regina Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
