A two-vehicle crash left a 66-year-old woman dead on Thursday.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers with the Carrot River detachment received a report about the crash on Highway 23, east of Arborfield, at around 3:30 p.m.

Police, firefighters and paramedics all responded to the scene, where the RCMP said a pickup truck and a car collided.
“The driver and sole occupant of the truck was assessed by EMS at the scene,” the RCMP said.
“The driver and sole occupant of the car was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. She has been identified as a 66-year-old female from Zenon Park. Her family has been notified.”
The crash remains under investigation, the RCMP said, with help from a collision reconstruction expert.
Also on Thursday, officers from the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warman detachment were called to the scene of a three-vehicle crash on Highway 11. That collision saw three people, including a child, hospitalized.
