A 22-year-old woman has appeared in Regina Provincial Court charged with assault and possession of a weapon after being arrested in the city on Sunday.
Regina Police Service (RPS) said in a news release on June 30 that officers were called to to the 2900 block of Dewdney Avenue around 12:10 p.m. after receiving a report of bear spray being used as a weapon.

Police said they were told that a woman had threatened the victim with a knife and bear sprayed them, and they received another report shortly after that a woman had bear sprayed another victim in the 1900 block of Lorne Street.
Police found the woman, who was arrested without incident, and found she had a canister of bear spray and a knife.
The woman appeared in court on Monday.
