Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating the sudden death of a 25-year-old woman from Big Island Lake Cree Nation.
On Friday, at around 1:30 p.m., Pierceland RCMP got a call about a sudden death at a rural property in the RM of Beaver River, in northeastern Saskatchewan.
Local firefighters responded to a structure fire on the property. When they arrived, they found a dead woman.

Investigation is onoging to determine the circumstances surrounding her death. RCMP Major Crimes have taken over the investigation.
It’s asking anyone who spoke with the woman before her death, or anyone with information to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
RCMP said an update will follow.
“If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public,” it said.
