Traffic was backed up Wednesday afternoon on Lewvan Drive and Regina Avenue following a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
This happened at the intersection of the two roads in the northbound lanes.

“EMS has transported the pedestrian to hospital with minor injuries for further assessment,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
Northbound traffic was diverted onto Regina Avenue while westbound traffic on Regina Avenue was being diverted at Pasqua Street. Drivers were asked to plan a different route to avoid delays.
The driver involved was given a ticket for failing to yield, police said.
