A man whose body was found in the South Saskatchewan River on June 22 has been identified, and police say foul play is not beleived to be a factor in his death.
While the man’s identity was not released, police said his family has been notified of the new development in the case.

The Saskatoon Police Service released a composite sketch and description of the man in early July, and officers received tips from across Canada and the United States as they worked to identify the man’s body.
The police force said its officers worked closely with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service and the RCMP during the investigation.
