Saskatchewan RCMP is looking for a truck they say was stolen in Shellbrook with a firearm inside on Friday.
RCMP said in an Aug. 9 news release that officers at the Shellbrook detachment were called around 2 p.m. on Aug 8 and told the truck was taken from outside a business on Main Street in the town west of Prince Albert.

Police said that further investigation determined an unsecured firearm was inside the vehicle.
Police said the truck reported stolen is a red 2005 GMS Sierra 2500 with Saskatchewan licence plate 297 MLE. It has a red slip tank on the flatbed.
RCMP added that an investigation had determined that the occupants of a grey Ford F150 truck may have information about the theft and police would like to speak with them.
Police said officers looking for the red truck found in around 10 a.m. on Aug. 9, on Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation and but it did not stop for police and was last seen driving northbound towards the Debden area.
Police also said that on Aug. 9, gunshots were reported on Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation and they were told that a red truck was involved.
Police said anyone who sees either vehicle should not approach the occupants and call police immediately, adding that the occupant or occupants of the red truck may be armed and are considered dangerous.
