The mayor of Richmound is calling for help from provincial officials.
In a recent update shared on Facebook by Richmound’s Mayor Brad Miller, he claims Romana Didulo and others staying at the former Richmound school are pumping sewage into the park.
Referring to them as a “QAnon Cult,” Miller shared a video of a hose that’s pumping liquid away from the school and into the surrounding grounds, including the local ball diamonds and park.
Romana Didulo, a conspiracy theorist who’s declared herself the country’s queen, has been staying at the unused school in Richmound along with a group of loyal followers since September of 2023.

Miller said they’ve dealt with nearly two years of threats, harassment and protests from the group and now he’s putting out another call for aid for someone to intervene and save the community of 120 people.
“Despite countless efforts – appearing on TV shows, radio programs, speaking with newspaper outlets, and reaching out to government officials – nothing has worked. We’ve been met with empty promises and no real action,” Miller said in a Facebook post.
Miller detailed how the town was able to block sewer access to the school. However, they recently noticed water overflowing from a manhole cover near the school building. Miller alleged that this proved he and the village were correct in their assumption that Didulo and others had been stealing water without paying for it.
“(And they) continued to use the sewer after they knew it was plugged,” Miller said.
“Thankfully, because of that, we were finally able to get access behind the fence and shut off the water. But now, with their sewage backing up, they’ve started pumping it around their compound.”
The town has since closed the park to the public due to the liquid being pumped into the area.
“It’s heartbreaking and infuriating,” he continued in his Facebook post. “I can’t believe we’re still here, with no real help, no protection, and no answers — just more waiting and more promises from people who say they care.”
Miller went on to provide an example of an email from Didulo, where she alleges that he is the one breaking the law. Similar emails have gone further in the past, threatening the execution of locals and their families.
RCMP were previously stationed in Richmound in order to monitor the situation. Recently, officers were involved in an altercation at the school fence, and Ricky Manz was subsequently arrested and charged. Manz is the owner of the former Richmound School, who initially invited Didulo into the facility.
MLA Doug Steele has previously been involved with the situation, having met with Miller, as well as surrounding community leaders from Fox Valley and Leader.
Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe has been asked about the situation, and in the past has been quoted as “not being aware of the details,” circa 2023.
