SaskTel has resolved the widespread outage affecting all cellular voice services, as well as around 3,000 business voice customers, the Crown corporation said in an update late Friday.
The province-wide outage began Friday morning and SaskTel told 650 CKOM that the outage was not related to any cybersecurity incident.

Sasktel said data services and text messaging are not impacted, and some cellular calls may intermittently go through.
It said around 4,30 p.m. that teams were “actively working to resolve the issue and restore full service as
quickly as possible.”
While 911 service still worked during the outage, RCMP said the non-emergency 310-RCMP line was down and asked people to reserve 911 for emergencies and crimes in progress only.
