Didulo has an account on the social media platform Telegram, and a post was put up on Wednesday morning.
“We have corporation police (sic) here inside the property calling out, saying get out of the trailer you are under arrest. We don’t know who they are calling out to come out,” read part of the post.
The RCMP is holding a press conference at 2:30 p.m. in Regina.
The relationship in Richmound between Didulo and her followers and residents of the town has been tenuous at best. There have been allegations of harassment and assault, the town office closed its doors, the RCMP set up a temporary detachment in the town, and the mayor has repeatedly called for the group to leave.
