A man was seriously injured after a hit-and-run accident on Mosquito Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation, south of North Battleford, on Tuesday night.
At about 8:15 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded with local ambulance and STARS helicopter to the call. They found an adult male with serious injuries, and STARS transported him to the hospital.

The white SUV did not remain at the scene of the collision, according to the RCMP report.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s North Battleford Provincial General Investigation Section (GIS) is now investigating the accident.
Investigators ask anyone with information about this incident to contact police immediately by dialling 310-RCMP.
