A 14-year-old boy is facing a number of charges following an alleged stabbing and robbery on Saturday.
At around 3 a.m., police were called to the area of 22nd Street West and Avenue C, where they found a 33-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital for treatment, where police said he is recovering.

“Officers determined that the stabbing had happened about a block away, and that the victim’s vehicle had been stolen,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
At around 3:40 a.m., patrol officers located the stolen Chevy Malibu in the area of 22nd Street and Circle Drive.
After a failed traffic stop, police said the driver continued northbound. A tire-deflation device was used to disable the vehicle on Airport Drive. Police said the suspects fled on foot, but were quickly arrested. Officers also located a loaded firearm, a knife and ammunition.
The 14-year-old is now facing charges including aggravated assault, robbery and firearm offences. He was also found to be in breach of probation.
A 29-year-old man is facing charges of dangerous driving and evading police.
The case remains under investigation by the police force’s Serious Assault Unit.
Two injured in break-in and robbery in Pleasant Hill
Two people were taken to a local hospital over the weekend after an alleged break-in and robbery.
According to police, officers were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Avenue S South, in the city’s Pleasant Hill neighbourhood, at around 6 a.m. on Sunday.
“Three men were inside when they reported that two unknown males entered the home armed with a knife, a baton and a firearm, assaulted two of the occupants and stole items from another, before fleeing the home,” the police service said in a statement.
“The males were treated for non life-threatening injuries.”

Woman jumps from window to escape armed intruder: Police
In another incident that happened on Avenue S South, police said a 51-year-old woman “was forced to jump from a window” to escape an intruder over the weekend.
Police said officers were called to the home at around 10 p.m. on Saturday, where they spoke with a woman who said an intruder had threatened her with a gun before she ultimately jumped out the window to escape.
The woman and the intruder were known to each other, the police force noted.
“Further investigation identified a suspect vehicle, which officers located and stopped soon after. The suspect was located inside the vehicle along with a machete,” the police service explained in a statement. “No firearm was found.”
A 30-year-old woman is now facing charges of break-and-enter with intent, possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and breaching court-ordered conditions.
Woman treated in hospital after stabbing
Police were called to the 1600 block of 20th Street West at around 7 p.m. on Friday after getting a report of an injured woman.
When they arrived, police found the scene of the attack on a nearby sidewalk, but learned that the 33-year-old victim had already received treatment “for multiple stab wounds” at St. Paul’s Hospital.
Police noted that her injuries were not believed to be life threatening, and asked anyone with information on the attack to get in touch with police or Crime Stoppers.
