Weyburn RCMP are asking anyone who believes they have been followed by an imitation police vehicle to contact them immediately.
The RCMP received a report on Sunday at about 10:40 p.m. of a vehicle potentially impersonating a police officer on a grid road near Midale.
“A vehicle came up behind (the individual) displaying flashing blue and red emergency lights. Both vehicles slowed, then the vehicle with blue and red lights fled,” RCMP said in a statement.

RCMP describe the vehicle as a 2000s-model granite grey heavy-duty Chevrolet truck with a flat deck and heavy-duty rack. The red and blue lights were mounted near the rearview mirror in the front windshield.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is also investigating the suspicious death that occurred on Friday in the Weyburn area, but said there is “no known link to the suspicious death at this time,” read the statement.
The RCMP is continuing their investigation.
