Hours are being adjusted in Saskatoon as the city prepares to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Tuesday.
But while City Hall and a number of civic offices will be closed, the city reminded residents that paid parking and time limits will remain in effect.

All city administrative offices will be closed on Tuesday, and along with all public libraries and the Remai Modern art gallery.
Waste collection will continue without interruption on Tuesday, and the city landfill will be open from 8 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.
The city noted that the Traffic Bridge and Spadina Crescent in between Second and Third avenues will be closed on Tuesday for the city’s RunConciliation event.
“Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the event area. Drivers are reminded to drive carefully and watch for participants,” the city noted, while thanking drivers for their patience.
“Saskatoon Transit will temporarily adjust detour routes that currently run on Victoria Avenue and the Traffic Bridge during this event. Route 8 will use 8th Street, Idylwyld Drive, and the Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge to maintain service to and from the downtown area. Travel along Victoria Avenue, and the Traffic Bridge will resume once event-related closures are lifted.”
Aside from the detours around the run, the city said Saskatoon Transit and Access Transit will operate on regular hours on Tuesday.
The Forestry Farm Park & Zoo will be open to the pubic on Truth and Reconciliation Day, and city-run golf courses will operate on regular hours.
The Cosmo Civic Centre and Terry Fox Track will be closed on Tuesday, the city noted, while the hours of the other civic centres will vary.
The Woodlawn Cemetery office will be closed during the national holiday, but the cemetery grounds will be open from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. as usual.
“On Tuesday, September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the City of Saskatoon encourages reflection, learning, and community care — and wishes everyone a safe and meaningful day,” the city said in a statement.
