Two men and a woman are facing criminal charges in connection with a robbery at a Regina jewelry store dating back to August.
According to the Regina Police Service, officers were called to the store on Albert Street North just after noon on August 8. When they arrived, the officers found several glass cases had been smashed and emptied.

The police force said the total value of the stolen goods was estimated to be over $200,000. Nobody was injured during the alleged robbery, a police spokesperson noted.
“The Regina Police Service Criminal Investigation Unit was called in and, over the past seven weeks, investigators have worked with various RCMP detachments in both Alberta and Saskatchewan, the Saskatoon Police Service and the Edmonton Police Service to locate and arrest those responsible,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
On Sept. 1, RCMP officers in Warman arrested a 34-year-old woman from Edmonton and a 40-year-old man with no fixed address in connection with the robbery, and police said the vehicle they were in contained “evidence related to the robbery, forged documents and tools used to commit forgery.”
They’ve each been charged with robbery, possession of stolen property over $5,000, wearing a disguise with intent, possession of forgery instruments, identity theft and possession of counterfeit money. The 40-year-old man was also charged with forging identity documents.
A few days later, on Sept. 16, an 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with the robbery in Edmonton. He’s been charged with committing a robbery with violence and wearing a disguise with intent.
All three suspects appeared in provincial court in Regina last month, police said.
