Nipawin RCMP and a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist are investigating a collision that claimed a pedestrian’s life on Thursday.
Police were called to the scene on Oct. 2 at around 6 a.m. along a part of Highway 55, east of Nipawin.

The pedestrian was declared dead by paramedics at the scene.
Officers are working to identify the deceased in consultation with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service and RCMP, and police said they cannot provide any further details.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene, and they did not report injuries to police.
