Mosaic will match each donation dollar-for-dollar up to $75,000.
“Our partnership with the Regina Food Bank shows our commitment to fighting food insecurity here at home, too. This is more than just another year’s challenge – it’s hope to ensure families have access to the food they need. We look forward to reaching our ambitious goals again this year,” said Marnel Jones, Director of Public Affairs and Government Relations for The Mosaic Company Canada, in a statement.
With rising grocery prices and rent, more residents are visiting food banks across the province, noted the Regina Food Bank.
“This campaign means everything to us. Every fall, we watch our community show up for each other. This isn’t about statistics. It’s about real people – your coworkers, your kids’ classmates, families in your neighbourhood. With more people needing help than ever before, that support matters now more than ever,” John Bailey, CEO of the Regina Food Bank, said in a press release.
Donations can be made by visiting the Regina Food Bank’s website.
