That speculation began after band’s logo appeared on the jumbotron at Mosaic Stadium – and on billboards across the country.
The Regina Exhibition Association also dropped a X post showing three people in the stadium wearing Saskatchewan Roughriders jerseys emblazoned with the last names of the band’s members.

The association said it will be making a major announcement at 8 a.m. on Thursday.
The Foo Fighters were scheduled to play shows in both Regina and Saskatoon back in 2022, but the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins meant the band had to cancel the remainder of their tour.
The last concert at Mosaic Stadium was a performance by Garth Brooks in 2019 – about 2,265 days ago.
